• Develop a legislator profile for long-term strategy and understand how to appeal to your elected officials. </aside>

Audience Setting: Individual

Step 1: Identify who your state and federal representatives are using the information below:

• State: .https://leg.colorado.gov/find-my-legislator
  • Input your address to find your state representatives and senator.
  • Note:  Each state should have their own state assembly website.
• Federal: https://www.congress.gov/members/find-your-member
  • Type in your zip code to find your representative.
  • Note: Everyone in Colorado has the same two Senators

Step 2:  Complete a legislator profile to identify key information about your elected officials. This information is essential for future advocacy efforts. Repeat this for both state and federal officials.
